Synopsis:

Since the 1990s, community development has reflected the reform of the urban management system in China and the growth and formation of China’s grassroots society. It also contributes to the evolution of sociological theories concerning social conditions.

The writing of a doctoral dissertation benefits from the academic attainments and training in 

academic norms of the academic body or research institution to which the author belongs. But it is also an exploration very much characterized by personal behavior and features. The lecture will introduce the speaker’s experience of writing a Ph.D. dissertation during his studies in Japan, focusing on the theoretical discussion and empirical research.
