NJU’s School of Journalism & Communication of Nanjing University and the Social Media Laboratory of Stanford University jointly organized the 2022 International Cloud Scientific Research and Training Program of Intelligent Communication and Innovative Social Development. This is supported by the Undergraduate School of Nanjing University. The training program was launched on July 11th and concluded on July 22nd. Among the topics covered: metaverse, Bitcoin, social robots, 5G technology, Internet platforms, algorithms, and the link between intelligent technologies and development of innovative societies. NJU’s Professor SHEN Qi presided over academic lectures, academic seminars, interviews, as well as video and audio data display activities. She also guided students to carry out comprehensive academic research. A total of 29 undergraduates from the School of Journalism & Communication, School of Liberal Arts, School of Foreign Languages, School of Artificial Intelligence, and Bingwen Academy were selected for this program. They were joined by two students from the High School Affiliated To Nanjing Normal University, who are campers from NJU’s Leap Plan.”
